오월의 바람도 바람이거니와 첫 장에 나오는 책상 위에 놓인 컴퓨터와 비슷하게 생긴 물건과의자가 이채롭다.그림에 색깔은 드러나지 않았지만 저런 의자가 있었다.국민학교 다닐 적에(나는 국민학교를 나왔다고 우긴다.) 교무실 같은 곳에서나 보았을까?갈색으로 칠해진, 쿠션이 아주 약한 철제 의자였다.운동회를 하기 위해 흙먼지 날리는 운동장에 아이들이 물주전자로 금을 긋고, 물을 뿌리던 시절.나는 아마 운동회 구경을 온 귀빈들을 위해 저런 의자를 나르기도 했을 것이다.

이런 식으로 뜬금없이 올라오는 사진이나 그림은 대개 면피용일 확률이 높다.

바둑 두는 여자 원제 La Joueuse de Go (2001) 샨 사 (지은이), 이상해 (옮긴이), 현대문학어서 자야하는데, 몸이 열렬히 깨어있는 바람에 뒤척이다가 얼마 전에 만난 소녀를 떠올린다.'바둑 두는 여자'를 생각하면 나는 언제나 첸훵광장에 서 있는 기분이다. 광장 한가운데에서 두리번거리며 바둑을 두는 여학생과 중국인으로 분장한 일본장교를 찾고있는 기분이다. 요즘에 읽은 소설 중에 제일 앞 자리에 세워두고 싶은 이 소설을 난 참 뒤늦게 만났다. 그것도 주말 도서관 서고에서 5시 대출마감 시간에 쫓겨 눈으로 책등을 훑다가 어디선가 본 적이 있는 제목이라는 느낌만으로 빌려왔을 뿐이다. 그런데 파리에서 산다는 이 72년생 중국 여성이 만들어낸 세계가 범상치 않다. 스스로 자신의 리듬에 따라 움직이는 그녀처럼 당돌하고, '다시는 돌아오지 않을 어린 시절의 석양'처럼 불안하고, 여름날 열린 창을 통해 남의 사랑을 엿본 것처럼 뜨겁고, 숨이 막힌다. 문장은 한 줄 한 줄이 모두 아름답고, 너무 아름다워서 단 한 줄도 따로 고르지를 못하겠다. 도서관에 책을 반납하고 나서 나는 결국 책을 주문했다. 이미 그들 운명의 끝을 알아도, 나는 처음부터 다시 설레며 읽을 자신이 있다.

I'm at Atlanta super con. and things have been really well i got to meet Furikio who is a really talented cosplayer and a new friend.

i received an award for my french aristocrats cosplay which was the hardest thing Ive ever done.

i will be back in Seoul on the 17th i have to speak to the woman who is making my wedding dress. she lives in California and her name is Vera Wang .

so when the con finishes on the 15th i have to go to the air port and catch a plane to los Angele's then when I'm done i can go home.

What ive been playing

Hello everybody or whoever reads this Lil page of Rikki-ness.

Sorry if i ha vent been online in a while Ive been playing dynasty warriors 5 they Finlay translated it in to Korean which I'm so happy about all my other games except the Sims 2 and a game called magna carta are all in English.

i have every dynasty warriors game apart from the dynasty warriors 5 expansion packs so i havent had much time to talk.

i will be of to Atlanta this week end and that will most likely draw all my energy from me. so if you me meet me and i feel drained or a little pissed off then i must say sorry in advance.

but i will have to get some sleep for the con and later I'm going out to a VERY FANCY RESTAURANT.

hmm what could he be up to? he all ready asked me to marry him which i said yes and he gave me a rock the size of a door nob.

so what could he be up to?

but he does romantic things for me all the time like bring in me English tea roses and having my name spelled out in fire.

yes yes FIRE!!!!

Hello everybody how is your day going?

My day was pretty cool my sister Emi came over she lives in china working as a scientist. so in person i only see her once or twice a year.

I often speak to her online and she does often laugh at the fact that i work as head chef at one of our fathers 200 restaurants.

But hey at least i get to boss people around which i must confess is one of my best traits

hello again I'm suuuuper!! happy today because my prince of tennis collect er plates came. i bought them from Yesasia.com and they are in mint condition and so well made and preserved they will feth a high price in about 20 years or so.

JACON day 2

Hey guys JACON day 2 as promised.

A new cosplay!!

hello People of the world or whoever reads my blog?



I'm posting a new cosplay my second attempt at a chii cosplay this one is again a white dress but with more detail we set up in the park at around 5 am just one day before JACON which seems to be all i can talk about today.



i had saved my old chii ears from my first chii cosplay back in 2003 and i stitched the flowers on to the dress and stitched the underneath bust which you cant see.



aren't finished the cosplay just two hours before i set off to Florida so it may look a tad rushed but i thing it looks pretty good not my best work but not my worst which i really cant tell if i have a worst cosplay well i hope not?
